Now enhanced with improved sticky traction for extra grip on wet, rocky trails.
New shape 4mm long cleats - made of the enhanced GRAPHENE-GRIP rubber - have been carefully positioned in multiple directions to improve grip, shed any lingering debris, boost propulsion off the toes and aid faster breaking at the heel.
Bigger shaped cleats in high-wear areas further enhance the lifespan of the outsole, while multi-directional water channels disperse any water and help the rubber grip to wet, rocky trails.
A META-FLEX groove across the forefoot allows for greater spring when pushing off the toes and more flexibility underfoot.
A new adjoining vertical groove isolates the big toe, giving it greater freedom to further boost push-off.
A flexible META-SHANK rock plate - coupled with the fully-skinned rubber outsole - protects the underfoot from sharp rocks, while still allowing feet to move naturally and have a feel for the terrain.
Midsole:A bouncy, cushioned ride that retains high levels of responsiveness is provided by the new POWERFLOW PRO foam midsole.
This amazing underfoot comfort and propulsion is built in a way that still allows for the ground-feel you need when running over uneven, hazardous terrain.
A new, lighter version of the 6mm thick BOOMERANG footbed features hundreds of expanded TPU beads that compress and spring back for 40% more energy return - and greater cushioning - than standard footbeds.
Now features more perforations to help water evaporate and transfer out of the shoe.
Overall stack heights (all the shoe material between your foot and the ground) of 22mm in the heel and 18mm in the forefoot, combined with a 4mm drop, aid a nimble, fast-feel, comfortably cushioned ride.
The midsole itself measures 11m in the heel and 7mm in the forefoot.
Upper:A one-piece air-mesh material forms the upper, giving excellent breathability and zero-irritation comfort to feet within.
Overlay MET-CRADLE strips connect the midfoot to the heel, so when laces are tightened it pulls in for a secure, locked-in feel.
The gusseted tongue stops any debris slipping down past the laces and into the shoe, while further comfort and protection is gained via a toe guard overlay.
The upper is 3D printed, for the first time in inov-8 history.
