The package contains two sponges, one fine porosity and one coarse porosity for biological and/or mechanical filtration for freshwater or marine aquariums and terrariums. Use: - Wash before use. Insert the black sponge into the water inlet of the filter to retain coarse dirt. - Insert the blue colored sponge into the middle section of the filter. - Both sponges must be inserted so that they adhere to the walls of the filter, so that the water cannot circulate without passing through the sponges. - Wash the sponges every 3 months only with tap water and replace them every 12 months. - It is recommended to allow at least 7 days to pass between washing one sponge and the other, so as not to destroy the bacterial fauna.
